* pgcrypto: Remove unused codeDaniel Gustafsson2022-09-14
| | | | | | | | The mbuf_tell, mbuf_rewind and pgp_get_cipher_name functions were introduced in commit e94dd6ab91, but were never used, so remove. Reviewed-by: Aleksander Alekseev <aleksander@timescale.com> Discussion: https://postgr.es/m/FCF3F14E-17D5-41F2-AC58-0A97B341193A@yesql.se
* Remove custom memory allocation layer in pgcryptoMichael Paquier2020-09-25
| | | | | | | | | | | PX_OWN_ALLOC was intended as a way to disable the use of palloc(), and over the time new palloc() or equivalent calls have been added like in 32984d8, making this extra layer losing its original purpose. This simplifies on the way some code paths to use palloc0() rather than palloc() followed by memset(0). * Make the order of the header file includes consistent in contrib modules.Amit Kapila2019-10-24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The basic rule we follow here is to always first include 'postgres.h' or 'postgres_fe.h' whichever is applicable, then system header includes and then Postgres header includes.  In this, we also follow that all the Postgres header includes are in order based on their ASCII value.  We generally follow these rules, but the code has deviated in many places. This commit makes it consistent just for contrib modules. The later commits will enforce similar rules in other parts of code. * pgcrypto: support changing S2K iteration countAlvaro Herrera2016-03-09
| | | | | | | | | | pgcrypto already supports key-stretching during symmetric encryption, including the salted-and-iterated method; but the number of iterations was not configurable. This commit implements a new s2k-count parameter to pgp_sym_encrypt() which permits selecting a larger number of iterations. Author: Jeff Janes

| | | | | | | pgp.h used to require including mbuf.h and px.h first. Include those in pgp.h, so that it can be used without prerequisites. Remove mbuf.h inclusions in .c files where mbuf.h features are not used directly. (px.h was always used.)
